Published in the October 31, 2016 edition. WAKEFIELD — Robert E. Stentiford, 89, of Wakefield died on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Wingate of Melrose Nursing Home. Born in Wakefield on Sept. 26, 1927, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Esther (Greeley) Stentiford. Mr. Stentiford lived in North Reading for many years before retiring to Wakefield in 1988 and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He had been self-employed as a brick mason before joining G.T.E Technology in Waltham. Mr. Stentiford was a member of the Medford Pigeon Club and the Boston Concourse. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and clamming. He is survived by his wife Helene G. Born in Boston, Mr. Canner resided in Wakefield for 41 years but has lived in Nashua for the past 12 years. He earned his education at Boston University with a BS in Business Administration and later received an M.B.A. from Northeastern University. Lillian was married to the late Carl Colucci for 35 years. Together they owned and operated Circle Bowl of Lynnfield. She was mother to four loving and devoted children and their spouses: Richard and Jan Colucci, the late James R. Colucci, Joan and Thomas Lemberger and Robert and Beverly Colucci. She was born in 1918 in Boston to Albert and Antoinetta (Cristoforo) Blangio. Lillian is predeceased by five siblings, John, Albert, Michael, Charles and Dorothy Capozzi. Mrs. Trask was born in Cambridge on July 13, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Rose A. (McCormick) O’Connor. She was raised in Cambridge and later lived many years in Woburn and then in Stoneham. During her working career she was employed as an executive assistant for the Raytheon Corporation and also Northeastern University, Burlington Campus. She was an active member of the Stoneham Senior Citizens. She also served as the “Silver Haired Legislator” in Stoneham, was a member of the Republican Town Committee and was many times a delegate to the Republican State Convention, and in the year 2000 was named Republican Woman of the Year.
