Eddie was born on August 13, 1964 in Melrose, one of three children of Catherine (Canzano) Kelley and the late Charles O. Kelley. He grew up in Melrose and Wakefield, and graduated from the Northeast Regional Metropolitan Vocational School in 1983. By DAN PAWLOWSKI NORTH READING — The Wakefield girls’ track and field team was well represented at the Div. 3 State Meet at North Reading High School on Saturday as 21 student athletes competed for the Warriors.Wakefield had multiple impressive, individual performances which led to the Warriors taking 11th overall (20 points) out of 31 scoring teams. Senior Allee Purcell provided one of the best state performances in Wakefield track history. Born in Cambridge on February 4, 1944 to the late George and Mary (Hurley) Dargan. Lorraine was raised in Cambridge and Medford and graduated from St. Mary of the Annunciation Grammar School in Cambridge and Medford High School.   She was a resident of Melrose for over 45 years. Following high school, Mrs. Flaherty worked for the City of Medford’s Welfare Department and later was a medical transcriptionist, working for several doctors and hospitals throughout the Boston area.
