According to Town Clerk Betsy Sheeran, absentee ballots for the State Primary Election – Tuesday, September 4, 2018 – are available in the office of the Town Clerk during regular business hours.  M.G.L. is specific with regards to absentee voting.   Those registered voters who are unable to vote at the Galvin Middle School because of a physical disability, those registered voters who will not be in Wakefield on Primary Day during the normal polling hours of 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and those registered voters who prefer to vote absentee for religious reasons will be eligible to vote absentee.  The Office of the Town Clerk will be open for those wishing to cast an absentee ballot on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 29,2018, from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; THURSDAY, AUGUST 29 from 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and on and FRIDAY, AUGUST 31 from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Private voting booths are available adjacent to the office of the Town Clerk.
