WAKEFIELD — Anna M. Granese, 90, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, September 12, at the Blaire House of Milford.
Born in Wakefield on August 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rocchina (DeFelice) Granese.
Ms. Granese was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1944. She was employed as a secretary for Simpson Inc. of Boston and American Mutual Insurance Company. Ms. Granese was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield and a former member of the Ladies Sodality and the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by her sister Angelina Bruno of Milford; her four nephews Frank Bruno and his wife Janice of Milford, Michael Granese and his wife Sharon of North Reading, Vincent Granese and his wife Monica of Boston and Mark Granese and his wife Linda of Medford and her niece Michelle Romero and her husband Sam of Malden. Ms. Granese was predeceased by her brother Michael Granese.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the Mass starting at 10 a.m.
