NEWBURYPORT — Arline R. (Orben) Dunnells, 81, of Newburyport, formerly of Madison, New Hampshire, died early Wednesday morning, November 15, 2017 at Brigham Manor Nursing Home. She was the devoted wife of the late Norman L. Dunnells, who died March 16, 2005.

Arline was born in Wakefield on June 19, 1936, one of eleven children of the late Raymond H. and Gladys E. (DeRenne) Orben and was a graduate of Wakefield High School.

She worked as an assembler at Raytheon, retiring after many years. In her retirement, Arline and Norman moved to Madison, New Hampshire, to enjoy the beauty of the White Mountains.

Her survivors include her daughter, Laura Bradbury; granddaughter, Tiffany and husband Kyle Anderson; two great-granddaughters, Lily E. and Alex S. Anderson; step-daughter, Sharon Machado; sister, Patricia Medeiros and companion David Hurley; brothers, Kevin Orben and wife Lisa, and Truman Orben; sister-in-law, Marie Orben; brothers in-law, Gary Morris and Norman Boulay, along with countless nieces and nephews, extended family members, close friends in the White Mountains, and her beloved canine companion, Barron. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Glennis Boulay, Gloria Morris, Barbara Dingle, and four brothers, Roger, Raymond Jr., Lionel and Leroy Orben.

Visiting hours at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, will be Tuesday, January 2, from 10 to 11 a.m., immediately followed by funeral services at the funeral home and burial in Main Street Cemetery, Rowley.
