Published in the March 14, 2019 edition EPPING, N.H. — John I. Moccia, 80, of Epping, N.H., formerly of Wakefield, Mass., died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Hyder Hospice House, Dover, N.H. He was born on April 25, 1938 in Melrose, Mass., the son of Vito J. and Mary (Carmella Palumbo) Moccia. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1957. John spent 30 years as an aircraft refueler for Logan Airport; a member of Charlestown, Mass. Teamsters Local 25. John is survived by his spouse, Jean (Desmond) Moccia of Epping, N.H.; children Annette Moccia and fiancé Steve Moraski of Marshfield, Mass.; Anthony J. Enjoyed arts and crafts, especially painting rocks Published March 13, 2019 KENNEBUNK, Maine — Margaret Mary “Margo” Grady, 73, of Kennebunk, formerly of Wakefield, Mass, died peacefully Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Kennebunk Center for Rehabilitation following a period of failing health with her loving family at her side. Margo, to all who knew her, was born April 11, 1945 in Winchester, Mass., the daughter of John Norton and Margaret Blake Kelley, and is a graduate of the former Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield. She then attended Catherine Gibbs School in Boston. Loretta grew up in Jamaica Plain with her mother, father, and brother Jim. She attended parochial schools and led a life of strong faith. After graduating high school, Loretta enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where she was stationed in Norfolk, Va. It was there she met and married her husband, Ralph. They settled in Melrose and created a loving home for their seven children. They were married 49 years before Ralph passed away suddenly in 2003. Hood, 80, died March 6, 2019, at York Hospital.   Jack was born March 31, 1938 in Athol, Mass. a son of the late Stanley and Anna (Stone) Hood, formerly of Athol.   During Jack’s Junior and Senior years at Athol High School, he was the best third baseman on the high school baseball team. His old friend, Mike Dube said that Jack had a rocket arm and was a big time hitter. They were on the best baseball team Athol ever had.
