Published in the January 10, 2019 edition. CAMDEN, MAINE —Our mother, Marie J. Myers, 96, passed away on January 8, 2019 in Camden, Maine. Marie was born in Roxbury, the only child of William R. and Margaret I. (O’Hearn) Yerrick. Raised in Medford, Marie graduated from Medford High School, class of 1940 and began work at New England Telephone Company the next day. In 1949 she married our father, David M. Myers of Charlestown. When Marie became pregnant, she had to leave her job, as was the requirement in those days. They moved to a new home in Wakefield, where they raised four daughters. Widowed at age 48, Marie needed to return to work and was ever thankful to be re-hired by the telephone company after so many years. In 1989, she retired to...

Born in Medford on October 5, 1927 she was the beloved daughter of the late Leonell A. and Alice F. (Melia) Delorey. Ms. Delorey was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1945. She was a retired underwriter for Kaler Carney Liffler & Co., Inc. of Boston. Wenzel, 87, longtime Greenwood resident, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2019 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Greenwood, Marilyn was one of four siblings born to the late Elmer and Lenore (Chandler) Graves. Marilyn was also a longtime resident of Naples, Fla. and of North Andover. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, former Wakefield firefighter William L. Wenzel, Jr. Marilyn is survived by five children; William L. Wenzel, III, Gary P. Wenzel, Marilyn J. Published in the January 8, 2019 edition. MELROSE — Angelina (LaRosa) Guzzo, 94, passed away at the Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in Beverly on January 5, 2019. Angelina was born in Quincy on November 23, 1924 to the late Joseph and Maria (Fantuchio) LaRosa; she was raised in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. Mrs. Guzzo a dedicated and loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and she always put her family first in her life. She was also a very hard worker holding numerous jobs throughout her life. Angelina worked at Jordan Marsh in Boston, as a dental assistant, for Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, she ran Ann’s Thrift Shop in Somerville for many years as well as several other jobs over the years. Born in Cambridge on February 26, 1944 he was the son of the late William J. and Helen (Manning) Quinn. Jim was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School and also Boston University, where he played four years of hockey and was team captain his senior year. She was born on March 4, 1973 and grew up in Wakefield. A graduate of Wakefield High School, Heather also attended UMass in Lowell and North Shore Community College from which she received a degree in Criminal Justice Studies. She worked for a detective agency for a while, then worked for many years at Lifeline, eventually becoming a manager there.
