July 12: Katrina Gustafson

Lynnfield’s own Katrina Gustafson and her band will be entertaining the audience on July 12, with the rain date scheduled for July 13. Gustafson puts her spin on country pop tunes mixed in with a blend of her own compositions and has gained quite a following over the years.

July 26: Funbucket with Kook Lawry

Lynnfield-based Funbucket, led by local resident Kook Lawry along with some new faces, will perform at the last concert on July 26 with a rain date of July 27. The band’s repertoire includes fun classics that will please the entire family.

Following last year’s tradition, the Lynnfield Recreation Commission is partnering with the Lynnfield Rotary Club to provide free children’s activities, lawn games and entertainment each week.

The Concerts on the Common provide an opportunity for residents to enjoy music and catch up with friends and family.  All are invited to bring a picnic dinner or support the Lynnfield High School Interact Club by purchasing Kayem hotdogs and other snacks offered for sale.

Flyers will be posted at various locations around town and will be available at the Lynnfield Public Library as well as during the concerts. The schedule can also be viewed on the Lynnfield Rotary Club website, www.lynnfieldrotary.org., and in the Lynnfield Villager newspaper.

Residents should contact Concerts Committee Chairman Bob Priestley at 781-334-0001 with questions, ideas, comments or sponsorship opportunities.
