STONEHAM — Connie Cucurullo-Alicata Kallas, 84, of Stoneham, formerly of Wakefield, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Connie was born in Malden and was the daughter of the late Charles and Balmeter (Lago) Cucurullo.

Connie was raised in Wakefield and was a member of St. Florence Church and a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy Club of Wakefield. She had worked for L.B Evans, Louie’s Diner, Hazelwood Cottage, Kitty’s Restaurant, and the Hilltop Restaurant. She loved music and dancing.

Connie was the wife of the late Peter Kallas. She was the loving mother of Sabrina (Alicata) Toothaker and her husband Scott of Stoneham. She was the stepmother of Julianne Kallas Kent and her husband Jim of Hamilton, Wendy Kallas Herzeelle and her husband Vernon of Beverly Farms.

She was the sister of Charles Cucurullo and his wife Janet of Newburyport, the late Anthony Cucurullo and his wife Florence, the late Frank Cucurullo and his surviving wife Carol Cucurullo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her beloved grand-dog Buddy and her dear friend Barbara Duncan.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home, Friday, April 26, from 4-7 p.m.
