WAKEFIELD — Dorothy Lee Tecce, 86, of Wakefield, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Melrose on September 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Manser) Brennan.

Mrs. Tecce was raised and educated in Medford and Malden. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 70 years.

Mrs. Tecce was the wife of the late Dante A. Tecce. She is survived by her daughter Diane L. Tully and her husband Jim of East Wakefield, New Hampshire, her five grandchildren; Paul Tully, Jeannine Santerre, Brennan Peaslee, Melissa Heartey and Dianna Leombruno, her daughter-in-law Jane Tecce of Lynnfield, her two nephews; Ricky Ericson and his wife Jean Marie of Rowley and Keith Ericson and wife Karen of N.H. and her 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Tecce was predeceased by her son James Tecce, her sister Marilyn Ericson and her grandson James Tecce.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 1 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service staring at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
