Lovell and Hill selected to Eastern Mass. All-Star team

WAKEFIELD — The Middlesex League girls’ soccer coaches met recently to make this year’s All-Star selections in both the Freedom and Liberty divisions.
The Wakefield Memorial High girls’ soccer team had three All-Stars named: Seniors Hailey Lovell, Meaghan Foley and Courtney Hill. Lovell played midfielder/forward, Foley was a defender and Hill a goalkeeper.
Captains Hill and Lovell were also named to the Eastern Mass. Division 2 All-Star team.
In the Freedom Division, Stoneham and Wilmington led the way with four All-Stars. Wakefield and Burlington each had three selections while Watertown and Melrose each had one.
In the Liberty Division, Belmont and Winchester paced the league with five All-Stars.
