MELROSE — On Thursday, Aug. 1, prior to the Jimmy Fund 9-year-old playoff game between Melrose and Medford, the Friends of Jim Ward presented an incredibly generous check to Melrose Little League on behalf of the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Melrose Little League annually participates in the Jimmy Fund baseball tournament and former Churchill American President Jim Ward was a huge supporter of the program when he was League President.
Jim Ward’s family and friends honored Jim’s legacy with this wonderful donation for such a worthy cause.
