MELROSE — The Chamber of Commerce will host Home for the Holidays on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 4 and 5.

Each holiday season, the Chamber’s event draws thousands of people to greet the holiday season.

A Melrose tradition, Home for the Holidays is a city-wide holiday open house that ushers in the holiday season.

On Friday night, the holiday lights will be turned on and Santa will be making his first stop in Melrose.

On Saturday, the city is full of fairs, performances, sales, specials and tastings that last throughout the weekend. And for an added treat, special holiday trolleys run on Saturday, carrying shoppers throughout the shopping districts.

The 2015 Home for the Holidays will be held on Dec. 4 and 5, rain or shine.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, the Mount Hood Park Association invites the public to attend its annual and festive “Children’s Holiday Party” at the clubhouse on Slayton Road from 1-3 p.m.
