WAKEFIELD — Isabelle E. Doucette, 93, a long-time Wakefield resident, died on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Stoneham on February 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Agnes (Amiro) Doucette.

Mrs. Doucette was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of St. Patrick High School. She enjoyed extensive travel, camping and Las Vegas trips. Mrs. Doucette was devoted to her family.

She was the wife of the late James H. Doucette. Mrs. Doucette is survived by her two daughters; Jean E. Crooker and her husband Scott and Karen E. Doucette all of Wakefield; her two granddaughters Julie Crooker and Keri Crooker and her husband Keith; and her three great grandchildren Hayden, Jordan and Gabe. Mrs. Doucette was predeceased by her two sisters; Henrietta Whitehouse and Frances Bennett.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
