WAKEFIELD — Jane Isabelle Tropeano, 87, of Wakefield died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home following a long period of failing health.

Mrs. Tropeano was born in Saint Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada on January 29, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Isabelle (Simon) Bradbury. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School and later, first in her class from Mansfield Beauty Academy after which she worked many years as a hairdresser. She had been a Wakefield resident for 65 years.  

Mrs. Tropeano was the beloved wife of the late Samuel J. Tropeano. She was the loving mother of Wayne A. Tropeano , Linda L. MacInnis and her husband Glenn and the late Samuel J. Tropeano, Jr. She was the grandmother of Tyler and Samantha MacInnis. She was also the sister of William Bradbury and the late Janet Murray and Shirley Scenna.

A private graveside service was held at the Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

The Tropeano family would like to thank the Wakefield Police and Fire Departments and EMT services for the assistance and care they have provided their family.

Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
