NORTH READING — Judith Ann “Judy” Snyder, 71, of North Reading, lost her valiant fight with cancer on October 26, 2017. Judy passed peacefully with her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert L. Snyder, by her side. Judy was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother and an irreplaceable friend.

Judy leaves behind two children, Scott R. Snyder and his lifelong companion, Angela Gordinas of North Reading, daughter, Sandra Snyder of Rhode Island and grandson, Scott Ryan Snyder II. Judy is also survived by her brother, Edmond J. English, Jr. and his wife Susan of Skowhegan, Maine, formerly of North Reading, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Judy’s heart and generosity knew no bounds. She donated much of her time to help others and supported many community organizations like the Girl Scouts, North Reading Girls Softball and the North Reading Senior Center.

Family and friends celebrated her life on Wednesday, November 1, at Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. Her funeral service will be held at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street, North Reading on Thursday, November 2 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
