WAKEFIELD — Judith J. Kaufman, 82, of Wakefield, died Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Wakefield Center.
Born in Lynn on June 15, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Sisto and Mary (Petronella) Camponescki.
Mrs. Kaufman was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of St. Joseph School. She had worked at the former Kytron Electronics in Wakefield and most recently had worked as an aide at Oosterman’s Rest Home in Wakefield. She was a member of St. Joseph parish and enjoyed parades, fairs, and family gatherings.
She was the loving mother of Ronald T. Kaufman, Jr. of Wakefield and Roberta H. Kaufman of No. Attleboro. She was the cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Danielle, and Rachel. She was the beloved sister of Angelo Camponescki and his wife Johanne of Florida and Samuel Camponescki and his wife Kathryn of Wakefield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
