LYNNFIELD — Barry E. Stevens, 79, a longtime resident of Lynnfield, formerly of Reading, passed away on July 30, 2020 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.
Barry was born in Medford on June 25, 1941. He was the son of the late Ralph E. and Eleanor N. (Riker) Stevens. Barry was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School and was a member of the Class of 1959. Barry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Barry was the beloved husband of Elizabeth S. (Stuart) Stevens. He was the devoted father of Douglas A. Stevens of Lynnfield. He was the cherished brother of Barbara E. Stevens of Manchester, N.H.; and the late Douglas E. Stevens.
Barry’s funeral and burial will be private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.
