Enjoyed buying and selling trucks and gardening

LYNNFIELD — Donald D. Rosmarinofski, 84, of Lynnfield, died on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.  

Born in Worcester on March 26, 1935, he was the son of the late Dominic and Marie Rosmarinofski.

Donald was raised in Northborough and had been a longtime Lynnfield resident. In 1959, he opened his garage which he owned and operated for 60 years. For many years of its operation, the garage towed for the Malden Police, the State Police, the Registry of Motor Vehicles auto theft bureau, and many other companies. In the same year he opened the garage, Donald married his wife and together they began their family, and settled in Lynnfield in 1965. The two enjoyed their Sunday date nights and traveling all over New England to dine out at new restaurants weekly. Donald also enjoyed buying and selling trucks, as well as gardening.

He was the beloved husband of Josephine M. (DeBole) Rosmarinofski. He was the loving father of Donna Marcinkiewicz and her husband Gregory of Fiskdale; Dennis Rosmarinofski and his partner Melissa Webb of Danvers; and Donald Rosmarinofski and his wife Lisa of Port Charlotte, Florida. He was the grandfather of Ashley and Mark Rosmarinofski. He is survived by one sister and was predeceased by two brothers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for relatives and friends was held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home. Interment took place in Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
