LYNNFIELD — George Michael Kaltsounis, 58, of Lynnfield passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2018. He was born in Igoumenitsa, Greece on June 1, 1960 and was the son of the late Michael and Vasiliki (Koloxos) Kaltsounis.

George was a man with a heart of gold, always there for you when you needed him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand; he was generous and kind. He was an avid lover of nature, camping, biking, running and his five birds. George served in the U.S. Marines as an expert rifleman in the 1st Marine Division Infantry.

George leaves his daughter, Leticia Stamp; his sister, Andromahi Tsatsis and her husband Konstantinos Tsatsis; sister, Alexandra Tefis and her husband Emmanuel Tefis; brother, Harry Kaltsounis his wife Dawn Kaltsounis; sister, Constantina Dinis and her husband Gregory Dinis; brother, James Kaltsounis and his wife Beth Golden-Kaltsounis; as well as many nieces and nephews.

His funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 3 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 p.m. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
