LYNNFIELD — Ida Helen Corriere, 92, of Lynnfield, formerly of Everett, died peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Everett on August 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maria (Falcucci) Dieso.

Ida was raised and educated in Everett and worked for the Everett school system.

Ida was the wife of 45 years to the late Salvatore Corriere. She was the mother to Marie Heikila and her husband Steve of South Carolina; Nancy Piotrowski Alexander and her husband James Alexander of Lynnfield; Paula Corriere of Florida and the late Dennis Corriere.

Ida had also been blessed with many loving grandchildren: the late Guy Borsetti-Heikila; Stephanie, Lauren and Rachel Heikila; Kevin, James and his wife Antoniya; Mary Piotrowski and her husband Joseph Conti; and Kimberly (Conti) Bachand and her husband Joshua. She was also gifted with her great-granddaughter Sophia Savard. Ida is also survived by her loving and devoted partner of the past 10 years, Joe Bettano of Lynnfield.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Salem and Grove Streets, in Lynnfield on Thursday, July 9. Relatives and friends were invited to attend. Interment took place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.

Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
