Airline agent enjoyed riding motorcycles

LYNNFIELD — Mark A. Lamusta, 62, a lifelong Lynnfield resident, died on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at the Mass General Hospital.

Born in Boston on June 26, 1956, he was the son of Richard Lamusta Sr. of Lynnfield and the late Janet (Wright) Lamusta.

Mr. Lamusta was a graduate of Lynnfield High School, Class of 1975 and Northeastern University. He was an airline agent for American Airlines for 37 years. Mr. Lamusta enjoyed motorcycle riding with friends or alone, especially cruising the Kancamagus Highway in N.H. He treasured his family and friends and most of all his wife and children; as well as his pets, Buster, Lola and Houdini. He was a wonderful man who treated everyone he met with respect and kindness. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his father, Mr. Lamusta is also survived by his wife Darlene M. (Long) Lamusta; his daughter Rachel M. Lamusta of Lynnfield and his son Marc C. Lamusta of Lynnfield. He is also survived by his two brothers: Richard Lamusta of Lynnfield and Stephen Lamusta of Woburn.

His funeral was held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday, Dec. 7, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield. Visitation for relatives and friends was held at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 6.
