LYNNFIELD — Ursula A. Arena, 95, of Lynnfield, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn.
Born on June 17, 1923 in Boston, Ursula was the beloved daughter of the late Guy Arena and Mary F. (Cappuccio) Arena. Ursula was a warm and caring daughter, sister aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ursula was the loving aunt of Jennifer Arena; Arthur DiGiovanni and his partner Craig Scheinfeld; and Dianne Thorley and her husband Mark. She was the dear sister of the late Frank Arena and his late wife Teresa; the late Anthony Arena; the late Anna DiGiovanni and her late husband Jerome.
A funeral Mass celebrating Ursula’s eternal life was held on Monday, Nov. 5. Family and friends gathered and shared memories with the family prior to the Mass in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St., Stoneham. Interment took place in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
