BOSTON — The Lynnfield girls’ swim team and the Lynnfield-Wakefield boys’ co-op swim team competed at states last weekend at MIT.

The girls’ team sent three relay teams on Saturday.

The 200 medley relay of Liz Sykes, Sara Ho, Julia Ho and Michelle Marder finished 21st with a time of 2:06.55.

The 200 freestyle relay got disqualified.

The 400 freestyle relay finished 19th with a time of 4:12.82. That team included Sadhvi Sreeram, Caitlin Hooper, Michell Marder and Liz Sykes.

“The girls all swam really well, that last relay in particular,” said head coach Jeff Boyd. “Just about everyone on that relay swam their best time so that was way to end the season.”

The 200 medley relay qualified for states and finished with a time of 1:52.53. The team was comprised of Ben Sykes, Antonio Anastasiades, Alex Kent and Spencer Little. This was their best time of the season.

“The boys relay was awesome,” said Boys. “They put out their best performance of the year.”

David Kasdon qualified for states in diving.

Antonio Anastasiades won the 200IM with a time of 1:57.03. He was seeded fourth.
