BLOOMFIELD, Conn. — Marcia Jean (Troughton) Hicks, 63, of Bloomfield, beloved wife of 37 years of Chester Hicks, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
Born on February 28, 1955 in Arlington, Mass. to John Troughton and the late Betty (Chandler) Troughton, she was raised in Wakefield, Mass. and has been a Bloomfield resident for over 37 years. Marcia was a voracious reader and an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the country with her husband and friends. She is deeply loved and will be truly missed as we continue to celebrate her life.
Besides her husband Chester, she is survived by her daughter Allison Tucker and her husband Coree; her brother David Troughton and his wife Judy; her sister Janice Morrissey and her husband Joe; her grandchildren, Kyree Tucker and Silas Tucker; her niece Andrea Johnson; and her nephews, Jeff and Greg Troughton, Michael and Jason Morrissey.
