HARWICH — Maria Rose Lusignolo, 98, of Harwich, formerly of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Rosewood Manor in Harwich.

Born in Castelfranci, Italy on April 7, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Palmina (Nigro) Roberto.

Mrs. Lusignolo had been a Wakefield resident since 1929 before moving to Harwich four years ago. She retired in 1980 from L.B. Evans Shoe Company in Wakefield. Mrs. Lusignolo was an active member at St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield, Wakefield Lodge # 1734 and the Order of the Sons of Italy. For many years, she volunteered at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield and at My Brothers Table in Lynn.

She was the wife of the late Angelo J. Lusignolo. Mrs. Lusignolo is survived by her sister Lee White of Florida, her eight nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her sister Antoinette Albanese and her brother Michael Roberto, Jr.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Church on Saturday, February 16, with her relatives and friends. Interment was held at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. In honor of Rose, please donate to the charity of your choice and perform an act of kindness.
