WAKEFIELD — Mark D. Hudson, 64, of Wakefield, formerly of Medford, died Monday, June 4, 2018.

Born in Stoneham on October 1, 1953 he was the beloved son of the late Francis E. and Ruth M. (Flanagan) Hudson.

Mark was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Arlington Catholic High School. He then went on to Northeastern University where he received his master’s degree in Business Administration. He had retired from Verizon where he had worked for many years; upon his retirement, Mark worked as a part-time auctioneer. He enjoyed traveling, boating, Corvettes and motorcycles; as well as time spent dedicated to the group “Vettes for Vets.” Mark was a devoted
member of St. Joseph Parish.

He was the cherished brother of Donald J. Hudson of Calif., Robert P. Hudson and his wife Nancy Sherman-Hudson of Winchester, Richard J. Hudson and his wife Patricia of Tenn., and the late Francis E. Hudson, Jr. and David M. Hudson. He was the brother-in-law of Joyce Hudson of Medford. He was the loving uncle of Randy Hudson and his wife Ann, Shawn Hudson, Jennifer Najjar and her husband Keith, Ashley Hudson, Cody Hudson, Cameron Hudson, Danielle Burton and her husband Dennis, Colleen Hudson, Kaitlin Hudson, Bailey Hudson, and Keegan Hudson. He is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.

His funeral Mass was celebrated Monday (today) in St. Joseph Church. Arrangements were in the care of McDonald Funeral Home.
