MELROSE — Come and Cheer!  Forty teams are expected to compete in the 18th Annual Melrose Adult Trivia Bee at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at Memorial Hall. This highly-anticipated community event will feature local notables, a multi-team trivia competition, raffles, and food and drink. Last year more than 300 people participated in and attended our event.  

New this year, Stump! Trivia will be bringing its dynamic, pub-style format to Memorial Hall, where all teams play strategically and simultaneously, providing for even more exciting and engaging game play. This year’s Trivia Bee is sponsored by East Boston Savings Bank.

Admission is free and light refreshments are sold at the event, including beer amd wine. You can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win many exciting raffle items valued at more than $6,000 including: Red Sox game tickets; museum and theater tickets; tickets to local events including Beer + Bites and the MSO Pops; private wine tastings from Total Wine & More in Everett; a Made in Melrose basket full of local gifts and a Cape Cod weekend, just to name a few. Additionally, we will feature art created by Melrose High School students in grades 9-12. The Trivia Bee is held annually as a fundraiser for The Bridge: A School/Community Partnership.

The Bridge: A School Community Partnership is a unique non-profit organization that recruits trains and places volunteers in the Melrose Public Schools. Established in 1993, The Bridge mission is based on the philosophy that young people benefit greatly when community members contribute their time, talent and expertise to assist public education.
