MELROSE — Come to buy your Christmas tree early before the Superbowl gets underway. The hours have not changed due to the game. 

The Melrose High School Marching Band’s Annual Christmas Tree Sale will take place on Friday, December 6 – Sunday, December 8 in the high school parking lot. 

The fresh Christmas trees are delivered directly from Nova Scotia. Wreaths (decorated and plain), kissing balls, poinsettias, and sweet treats will be on sale for this weekend only. This is the band’s largest fundraiser for the year. Arrive early for best selection.

Hours of Operation:

Friday, December 6, 5-9 p.m.

Saturday, December 7, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Sunday, December 8, 9 a.m. -12 noon (if there are any left)

Prices:

Trees 8’ and shorter: $45

Trees 8’+: $55

Decorated wreaths: $25

Plain wreaths: $10

Kissing balls (decorated): $30

Poinsettias (large): $22

Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted.

The tree sale is the band’s largest fundraiser. The funds raised help purchase large instruments, awards scholarships to all seniors as well as assisting with many other costs.
