MELROSE — Anne (Nancy) M. (Joynt) Carucci, 84, of Melrose, formerly of Somerville, passed away on July 22, 2018.
Anne was born in Somerville on August 2, 1933 to the late John J. and Mary C. (Mullen) Joynt. She was raised in Somerville, graduated from St. Joseph’s High School and moved to Melrose in 1966. Anne enjoyed traveling to Ireland, France, the Caribbean and spending winters in Boca Raton, Florida. She also had wonderful memories of Hampton Beach and her favorite place since childhood was York Beach, Maine.
Anne was the beloved wife of the late Captain Louis C. Carucci of the Somerville Police Department. She was predeceased by her brothers, John J. Jr., Robert F. and George E. Joynt and her children, Patricia, James and Robert J. MacDougall, Jr. Anne was the devoted and loving mother of Janet M. MacDougall of York Beach, Maine and Lisa A. MacDougall-Walsh of Melrose. Anne was the cherished Nana of Casey R. MacDougall, Peter J. MacDougall, Daniel S. Walsh, Jack-Henry and Catey de la Pena. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anne will be dearly missed by many friends she was blessed to have throughout the years.
