Enjoyed playing bingo, pokeno and cards with friends

MELROSE — Camille M. (Belmonte) Barresi, 91, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on August 20, 2018.

Camille was born in Revere on August 28, 1926 to the late Alfred and Susan (Beatrice) Belmonte. She was raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School in 1944 and has been a resident of Melrose for the past 62 years. Camille was a homemaker who also worked as a clerk at K-Mart in Saugus for 22 years. Mrs. Barresi was a former member of Incarnation Church in Melrose, and enjoyed playing bingo, pokeno and cards with her friends at the Steele House in Melrose. Above all loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Camille was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. “Mike” Barresi. Loving mother of Michael S. Barresi and his wife Betty of Malden and  Paul Barresi and his wife Michele of E. Hampstead, N.H. Cherished grandmother of Sheryl A. Barresi of Dracut, Michael S. Barresi, Jr. and his wife Courtney of Peabody, Amanda E. Barresi of Saugus, Alicia E. Canales and her husband Robert of Dracut and David P. Barresi of Wakefield. Also survived by several great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visiting hours were held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday, August 22. A funeral service was held at the Gately Funeral Home on Thursday, August 23. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
