MELROSE — Claire M. (Lindkvist) (Rice) Frattallone, 71, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Nov. 1, 2018.
Claire was born in Boston, raised in Reading and attended Reading schools. She resided in Melrose for many years and worked as a nursing assistant for the Greenwood Nursing Home in Wakefield for several years. Claire enjoyed working with her father at the family business, Rice Tire Company, in Peabody, where they worked together for many years. She enjoyed her coffee from Dunkin Donuts, shopping and going to thrift stores. Claire was an amazing cook and always enjoyed taking care of people.
Claire was the loving mother of Elexis (Lougee) Ruffini of Pa. and Elizabeth Frattallone of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Ava Claire. Caring sister of Carol Lindkvist of N.H. and the late Charlie Lindkvist. Former brother-in-law of Dr. Ron Gobeil of Sutton. Also survived by relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, Nov. 8. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. Burial wase private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mystic Valley Elder Services, 300 Commercial St., #19, Malden, MA 02148.
