SAUGUS — Jann M. Reardon, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Saugus on April 15, 2018.
Jann was born in Melrose on September 4,1947 to the late William Leo and Virginia (Holden) Reardon. She was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1965 and lived most of her life in Melrose. Miss Reardon moved to Sheffield Heights in Saugus 17 years ago.
Jann started her working career at Smily Buick in Malden, worked for Allstate Insurance Company for over 10 years and then as the office manager for Dr. Jennifer Wu in Melrose for over 20 years. She was a very hard worker, enjoyed cooking, taking trips to Old Orchard Beach, Maine and loved the family trip she took to Hawaii. Jann enjoyed watching over her great niece and great nephew and loved spending time with her extended family.
She was the loving sister of Gail Logue and her husband Barry of Melrose and the late David W. Reardon and his wife Mary-Ellen of Westford. Cherished and fun-loving aunt of Kelly Morgese, Thomas Logue, Joseph Logue, Katherine Reardon Hutchins and Timothy Reardon. Also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday, April 21, from 9-10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 9 Herbert St. Melrose at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
