MELROSE — Susan E. Sheridan, 64, a proud lifelong resident of Melrose died in hospice care on September 2, 2019, with family at her side.

Susan was a registered nurse for 40 years until her illness and was very proud of her contribution to the many medical terms that she worked with during those years.

She was also a world traveler having swam with sea lions in the Galapagos Islands, sipped coffee traveling down the Danube River, ate a gourmet meal at the top of the Eiffel Tower, sampled champagne in Paris, sat with penguins in the Antarctic, had high tea in London and walked along The Great Wall of China “to name a few of her travels.”

Susan never married. She leaves her fiancé James Bleiler, her brother Edward and his wife Julie Sheridan, her sister Janet (Sheridan) Lopez, a brother Mark Sheridan, a brother Kenneth Sheridan and his wife Dorothy Sheridan. Five nephews John, Kevin, Jason, Robert, Stephen and a niece Kandice and many friends especially Denise Boisseau and Julia Scott.

Burial will be private.
