THE MELROSE YOUTH Lacrosse U15 girls’ team had a strong summer season, finishing with a 5-2-2 record. Melrose played their last game on Sept. 3 against Peabody and won an exciting matchup 12-9. Peabody’s comeback bid was halted by Alison Doherty who scored a top shelf goal to seal the victory. This was Doherty’s last goal for Melrose Youth Lacrosse and the final goal of the team’s season.
