STONEHAM — Mildred Bennett, 91, of Stoneham died on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Texas.
Mildred was born in Wakefield on May 25, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Lillian (Boudreau) Cotreau.
Mildred was a graduate of Wakefield High School Class of 1945. She was a resident of Stoneham since 1966 and was retired from Datacom in Burlington. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and loved playing Bingo at the Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Donald.
Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Donald Bennett. She was the loving mother of Linda Salonen of Belmont, N.H., Steven Bennett of Wiscasset, Maine, James Bennett of Tilton, N.H. and Elaine Dreyfus and husband Andrew of Kempner, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Her funeral service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., on Saturday, June 9 at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
