NORTH READING — On Tuesday, January 7, Classified Realty Group met to discuss 2018 sales and marketing plans and to celebrate a very successful 2017. Agents from the company’s three offices, Reading, North Reading, and Wakefield, attended the meeting which took place at the company’s North Reading office.

The meeting started with a review of 2017, a year in which sales grew by nearly 25% from the prior year, transactions increased from 183 in 2016 to 240 in 2017, and market share grew in all three towns. Presentations on the corporate marketing plan, office infrastructure, and selling strategies were given with time allotted for plenty of Q&A sessions. The opening portion of the meeting lasted about 90 minutes.

When asked to characterize the company’s success in 2017 and plans for 2018, Maureen Giuliano, broker-owner, had this to say, “From the start, Classified Realty has taken a slow and steady approach and applied it to all facets of the business. We started 12 years ago with one office in North Reading and a handful of carefully selected agents who shared the company’s vision and desire to create something truly unique, an agency that valued discretion, integrity, fairness and professionalism first before sales results. The company wasn’t designed to be an overnight success. I wanted something better and something that would last and I didn’t want to lose the company’s identity. Although we’ve grown substantially in the last 12 years, we’ve remained true to our core values. The community has really embraced our approach and they continue to trust us and welcome us into their homes. We are incredibly fortunate and grateful for the opportunities we’ve been given.”

As for the future of the local real estate market, she says, “At this time, 2018 looks to be another strong year in real estate with the market continuing to slightly favor sellers with low inventory and rising prices. For us, it’s going to be more of the same. Lots of focus on technology, innovative and customized marketing plans, with an emphasis on the latest on-line marketing tools and platforms, and, as always, a client first attitude.”

When asked about Susan and the other award winners, Maureen discussed their accomplishments in glowing terms. “They’re a very talented and hardworking group of agents. Through the years, I’ve really enjoyed watching them continue to learn, to grow, and to try new things. Most importantly, they’re high character people who’ve embraced the company’s core values and I am really proud to have them at Classified Realty.”

The meeting came to a close with a brief celebration of the company’s 12th anniversary.
