NORTH READING — Nine Hornets scored as North Reading annihilated the Lynnfield Pioneers by an astounding score of 73-25 on Friday night.

NRHS quickly got rolling in the first quarter. Their largest lead was 21-4 and were ahead 21-7 by the end of one. North Reading continued firing on all cylinders in the second quarter. The Pioneers only managed five points and the lead ballooned to 37-12 at the half.

The second half was almost a carbon copy of the first. Lynnfield didn’t put up much of a fight and the Hornets won by the astonishing 48-point margin.
