NEW PORT RICHIE, Florida — Alice L. (Johnson) Tweedy, of Port Richie, Fla., formerly of Boston, North Reading, and Hudson, Fla., danced her way into heaven from the coronavirus on August 22, 2020.

She was the beloved mother of Diane Clement-Coppens of Clearwater, Fla., Lois Tweedy of Newbury, Vt., Ed Tweedy of New Port Richie, Fla., and Doris Tweedy of Florida and Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her devoted grandson Andrew Clement, U.S. Navy.

Defying social norms at the time, she bravely got a divorce, living in Florida for the next 44 years.

She was an assiduous dancer, swimmer and reader with a wry sense of humor.

With an unlimited love of family she will be dearly missed.
