MELROSE — Dorothy L. (Connolly) Robbins, 93, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on March 19, 2018.

Dorothy was born and raised in Charlestown and attended Charlestown schools. She resided in Charlestown until 1950, Somerville for 25 years and the past 43 years in Melrose. Dorothy enjoyed family vacations at their camp in Rochester, N.H., traveling to Hawaii, Bermuda, Montreal, New York and going on cruises. She was a homemaker, loved reading, playing cards and her family was the most important part of her life.

She was the beloved wife of George A. Robbins for 70 years. Loving mother of Diana Artick and her husband Stephen of Framingham, Susan Ercolini and her husband Paul of Westford, Karen Warrington and her husband Gary of North Reading, Thomas Robbins and his wife Nancy of Burlington, and David Robbins and his wife Patricia of Londonderry. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Corey, Greg, Adam, Jamie, Sarah, Lora and Lindsay. Great-grandmother of Bryce, Blake and Lucia. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
