NORTH READING — Eric W. Rollfs, 61, of North Reading, passed at Lahey Hospital surrounded by family and loved ones on Monday, December 23, 2019.

Eric grew up in Topsfield, graduating high school from Masconomet and earning a bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College. Eric worked for many years at Blue Raven Tech in Wilmington as a sales account manager and, more recently, for the U.S. Postal Service in North Reading.

He kept the book for his sons’ baseball games in Little League, attending all of his kids’ sporting events as a fan through their college years. His favorite pastime was taking his dogs, Maybelline and Poe, around town, from the golf course to Ipswich River Park to Dunkin Donuts for a doggy munchkin. He was quick to pick up new skills, from carpentry in his home to working on cars.

Eric was the beloved husband of 24 years to Patty Rollfs, deceased in 2014, and the loving son of the late Doris Rollfs (King) and late Edward Rollfs of Topsfield. He was the cherished father of Mark, Dennis and Ellen Rollfs, all of North Reading and Allston. Brother of Bud Rollfs and his wife Sue of Andover, Judi and Frank Green of Queen Creek, Arizona, Deb and Jeff Wizig of Richmond, California, and the late Gretchen and Rodney Snyder. Son-in-law to Helen Collins. Brother-in-law of Catherine Sutherland and her husband Gene, Denyse Collins and the late James Collins, and Helen Anne Cowan. He was a loving uncle to 21 nieces and nephews.

His funeral Mass was on Monday, December 30 at St. Michael’s Parish, 196 Main Street, North Andover. Calling hours were held before his funeral Mass at Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: https://everloved.com/life-of/eric-rollfs/
