Jerilyn A. Barton, age 76 of North Reading and a former longtime Wakefield resident died February 12 in Wilmington. She was born in Stoneham, MA on August 13, 1942 and was the daughter of the late William and Lucy (Verrengia) Marinelli. She was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1959. She was retired from the Stop & Shop of Saugus where she worked many years.
Mrs. Barton was the beloved wife of the late Peter R. Barton. She was the loving mother of Peter R. Barton, Jr. and his wife Dianne of No. Reading, Billy Barton of No. Reading and Todd Barton and his wife Kim of NC. She was the devoted grandmother Gabrielle, Kaylee, Madison and Emma. She is also survived by her loving sister Beverly DiCato of Malden and was the sister of the late Carol Luca.
Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale. Ave Wakefield Friday February 15 at 11:00. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
