Enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren

NORTH READING — Margaret H. “Peg” (Donovan) LoRe, 93, of North Reading, died on January 26, 2018.
Born on September 13, 1924, she was the beloved wife of the late Anthony M. LoRe Sr. and the loving mother of Anthony M. LoRe Jr. and his wife Heather of North Reading, Karen LoRe and her significant other John Reese of Tewksbury and Michele Miller and her husband Edward of Lawrence.
She was the cherished grandmother of Jeff and Nicole Miller, Casey and Marissa Reese and Kayla St. Pierre. She was the sister of the late Evelyn (Donovan) Cellucci and the special aunt of Michael and Deni Donovan of Tennessee and William Donovan of Maine. Margaret is also survived by her loving Persian rescue cat Lydia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margaret was a long time employee of the IRS in Andover and a volunteer at Winchester Hospital. She enjoyed walking Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, ice skating at the Skating Club of Boston, bowling and watching figure skating. Margaret’s favorite activity was cheering on and supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events and school activities. Her sense of humor, apples pies and blueberry buckles will live on in her family and friends’ memories forever.
Her funeral will be held from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28), North Reading, at Reading line, on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
