Served in the Air National Guard during Vietnam

NORTH READING — Paul Thomas McGonagle, 78, of North Reading, formerly of Medford, passed away on January 31, 2020.

Paul was the beloved husband of 51 years to Terry (Rogers) McGonagle. He was the father of Shawn McGonagle of North Reading, Michael McGonagle of North Reading, Kevin McGonagle and his wife Jessica of Virginia, and Kelly McGonagle of Beverly.

Born on June 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret McGonagle and was the grandfather of Grace and Kyle. He was also the brother of the late Joseph McGonagle and the brother-in-law of Leslie McGonagle of Reading. Paul is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Paul served his country proudly in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War.

His funeral was held from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading on Wednesday, February 5, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading.
