Enjoyed traveling cross-country in his RV

PALM COAST, Fla. — Paul G. Jones, 77, of Palm Coast, Fla., formerly of Sandown, N.H. and Charlestown, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Born in Boston on June 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Maurice Jones and Alice (Mair) Ash. He was a graduate of Charlestown High School.

Paul was devoted to his family, he had a great sense of humor and had a very colorful personality. He enjoyed traveling cross-country in his RV, hunting, fishing and the New England Patriots. He was a vocational teacher at Northeast Vocational High School and then an electrical engineer at Schneider Electric in Andover which he retired from in 2006.

Family members include his beloved late wife Emily (Chase) Jones; his daughter, Susan Jones of Palm Coast, Fla.; his son Paul J. Jones of Boca Raton, Fla.; brother of Thomas Jones and his wife Kathleen of Falmouth, Daniel Jones and his wife Lucille of North Reading and Alice Young of Enfield, Conn.; he was the brother of the late Maurice Jones, Katherine Vaughan, Fred Jones and Alan Jones; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Jones of Lynn , Laura Jones of Wrentham and Joanne Jones of Charlestown. Also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kristina Jones of Boca Raton. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery on Saturday, August 4, at 11 a.m. Remembrances may be made in his memory to the New England Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
