PEABODY — The Peabody/Lynnfield/North Reading co-op girls’ hockey team is off to a 6-2 start in the 2019-20 season. 

The Tanners dropped their first game of the season 1-0 against Masco before winning four straight against Marblehead (5-0), Beverly/Danvers (3-1), Oakmont (6-0) and Medford/Malden (4-2). 

The team then lost to St. Mary’s 3-0 but bounced back with wins over Stoneham/Melrose (7-3) on Dec. 30 and Winthrop (7-1) on Jan. 4. 

Sammie Mirasolo became the program’s first player to score 100 points with a goal against Marblehead. 

The convincing 7-1 victory over Winthrop included included goals from Lynnfield’s Jen Flynn, Catherine Sweeney and Riley Ganter.
