WAKEFIELD — Richard M. Connors, 65, a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Thursday June 6, 2019 at his home in Wakefield.
Born in Everett, February 5, 1954 he was the son of the late William R. and Margaret M. (Sullivan) Connors.
Richard was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1972. He was an accomplished scholar and was a member of Mensa International. He went on to further his education at Boston College.
Richard is survived by his brother William R. Connors, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of New Boston, N.H., his sisters Marie T. Galise and husband Louis of Stoneham and Linda C. Alleca and husband Ken of Billerica. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathleen M. French. Richard is also survived by his three nieces, Kyla Connors, Gina Galise, Kelli Alleca and four nephews D. Matthew French, Jr., Sean French, Ryan Alleca and Kevin Alleca.
Funeral services in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home were private. Interment was in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
