WAKEFIELD — Robert A. Caissie, 85, of Wakefield and formerly of Reading, Peabody and Lynn, died on Thursday, June 6, at the Wakefield Care Center.
Born in Chelsea on July 7, 1933, he was the son of the late Fidele and Mary Caissie.
Mr. Caissie was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School. He had been a Wakefield resident since 2001 and retired in 1999 from the North Reading Post Office as a postal clerk.
Mr. Caissie is survived by his two daughters, Anne Marie Caissie and Patricia Caissie, and his four grandchildren: Brianna Caissie, Gabrielle, Matthew and Nathanial Menelus. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Caissie.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett on Wednesday at 11.
