WAKEFIELD — Theresa (Marino) Curtin, 84, from Cape Coral, Fla., and more recently of Wakefield, passed away on January 5, 2018 at Bear Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Stoneham.

She was the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Flavia Marino and sister to Florence of Coral Springs, Fla., and the late Grace, Margaret, Ann, Ester, Leo, Frances, Joseph, Sebastian, Eleanor and Rita.

Theresa grew up in The Heights in East Boston. She raised her three children in East Boston and in Wakefield with her husband, Salvatore Balzotti, and ultimately retired to Cape Coral, Florida with her second husband, William Curtin.

She is survived by her son, Caesar Balzotti and his wife Dawn Balzotti and their children, Brittany, Toni and Caesar; her son, Anthony Balzotti and his wife Lisa Bertolino and children, Christopher and Anthony (Tony) of Wakefield; and her daughter, Rita Balzotti of Chicago, Ill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 15 at 11 a.m. at Saint Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Medford. For additional information, please visit www.magliozzi
