WAKEFIELD — This just in: Thanksgiving dinner is much more satisfying after a morning run around Lake Quannapowitt.
The 8th annual “Earn your Turkey” 5K race, sponsored by Active Motion Physical Therapy will take place on Thanksgiving Day at 9 a.m.
Registration on the day of the event takes place from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the Comverse Building (200 Quannapowitt Parkway). Registration fees are $30 or a $95 team fee with a maximum of four runners per team.
This year, scores will be kept. The top four runners score, and all team members’ times will be added together with the lowest team time winning.
If you pre-registered for the event, you can pick up your t-shirt tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. at Active Motion Physical Therapy, 414 Main Street, Wakefield.
