WAKEFIELD — Deanna Joyce Gates, 79, of Wakefield died Monday, April 8, 2019 in Salem. Deanna was born April 12, 1939 and was the beloved daughter of the late Harold B. and Ella B. (Tyler) Gates. She was raised in Wakefield and was a member of Saint Florence Church.

Deanna is survived by her brother Philip E. Gates.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield on Friday beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at Saint Florence Church, 47 Butler Avenue, Wakefield at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
